Clothing

  • Underwear Lightweight hiking trousers (avoid heavy cotton, they don’t dry quickly)

  • Waterproof, breathable and windproof pants
  • Insulated down jacket for summit night (parka)
  • One pair of thermal socks
  • Mittens or warm gloves

  • Good quality hiking socks and thin liner socks Waterproof hiking boots – sturdy and worn-in.
